sick n tired - heejake
Heeseung knows he's messing up. He sees the quiet exhaustion in Jake's eyes every time they say goodbye after a late-night drive, and it kills him. He cares about Jake, more than he probably admits to himself, but every time they get close to crossing the line, Heeseung freezes. Half of his heart still feels chained to the past, stuck in the aftermath of a relationship that ended but never truly left his life.
He knows he's giving mixed signals, pulling Jake close only to push him away behind an invisible wall. Heeseung thinks he has time to figure things out, time to untangle the ghosts of his past before losing the best thing in his present. But he pushes Jake too far. When Jake finally hits his breaking point and walks away, Heeseung is left staring at the empty space beside him, forced to face the harsh reality - if he doesn't learn how to let go of yesterday, he's going to lose Jake forever.
