Worth The Chase

Park Jimin and Min Yoongi have been inseparable since before they could even walk. It wasn't exactly a coincidence. Their mothers had been best friends for years, fell in love around the same time, married the men of their dreams, and somehow ended up living right next door to each other. When Yoongi's mother became pregnant, Jimin's mother wasn't far behind, leaving their sons only a year apart. From daycare to elementary school, from middle school to high school, they grew up side by side, sharing the same classrooms, the same neighborhood, and almost every milestone life had to offer. Was any of it planned? Absolutely. Their mothers would proudly say yes.

For everyone else, they were simply two boys who happened to grow up together. For Jimin, however, it was both the greatest blessing and the worst curse imaginable. Somewhere between scraped knees, late-night video games, searching for Yoongi whenever he wandered into trouble, and years of being the one person Yoongi could always count on, friendship quietly became something far more dangerous. The problem was that Yoongi had no idea.
