The Odd Piece Out

A 10-year-old boy named Ethan, who writes the struggles of depression and not "fitting in" in his diary, telling story that many may relate to, over the span of 5 years. The same thing every day, over and over. No change, no personal life, just living in a world where he feels distant and out of place. The odd piece out. The one people look at weird, the one that doesn't fit society. But maybe, just maybe, Ethan will grow to be stronger and learn that being the odd piece out is actually not that bad.

This book is based on the feelings that I felt as a 10-year-old, and now I am 15. A book viewed through the eyes of a young boy, who struggles with the past and the present. Some moments are based on actual moments in my own life that I have seen and things that have been said to me. I hope this also helps others feel seen and understood. It's nice knowing you're not alone. I hope you enjoy reading too. After all not everyone is made to fit in for a reason.
