Daughters of Montrose

Montrose daughters are raised to obey.
To remain unknowing.
To be consumed by their legacy.

Blair Montrose has always known her role.
Play the part.
Follow the rules.
Never ask questions.
So when she is married into the Lockwood family, she does exactly what is expected of her.
She smiles, she listens, and she doesn't look too closely.
Because in her father's world, legacy is everything.
Some things just don't stay buried.
Not in the house she now calls home.
Not in the silences that stretch too long.
Not in the fragments of a past no one will speak of.
And the deeper Blair is pulled into it,
the clearer it becomes.
This isn't just tradition.
It's something far more dangerous.
The Montrose legacy isn't what it seems.
Neither is Blair.
