Lia has spent years building walls no one can climb.
She loves rainy afternoons, old records, oversized hoodies, and pretending she doesn't care.
Moving into her mom's boyfriend's house is the last thing she wants.
Especially after meeting his son.

Noah is confident, annoyingly attractive, and has perfected the art of getting on people's nerves.
Everyone thinks he's just quiet.
Lia thinks he's insufferable.
He isn't interested in getting to know his dad's new girlfriend or her daughter.

Lia's mom and Noah's dad have been dating for over a year.
Instead of getting married, they decide to move in together first.
Neither Lia nor Noah gets a choice.
Now they're stuck living under the same roof.
Every.
Single.
Day.

"You're not going out like that," he said, his voice a low growl.

I raised an eyebrow, a challenge in my eyes. "And why not?" I asked, my voice steady, my chin tilted up. "I thought you didn't care about me."

He took a step closer, his eyes never leaving mine.

"You look...edible," he said, his voice a low rumble. "And I don't want anyone else to have a taste."

I took a step back, my heart pounding in my chest. I could feel the heat radiating from him, see the hunger in his eyes.

"Well, then," I said, my voice a little breathless. "Maybe you should give me a reason to stay."

This story obviously isn't finished and still needs a lot of editing. But here we are. My favourite film My Fault London inspired me to write this because this genre is so good.
