One Last Thing

Niyati Joshi has always believed that life is about the little things-the moments that seem ordinary at the time but somehow become the ones you remember forever.

With graduation only two months away, she decides that she refuses to let her final summer pass by like any other.

So she makes a list.

Twenty-five things they've never done. Twenty-five memories to make before everything changes.

And Dev Malhotra, her childhood best friend, is the only person crazy enough to do every single one with her.

What starts with a simple list soon turns into spontaneous adventures, ridiculous arguments, late-night conversations, old memories, inside jokes, and moments neither of them expected to matter quite so much.

But while Niyati is busy trying to make sure they never forget these two months, life is already preparing to pull them in different directions.

Sherry is leaving for Mumbai.
Sam is leaving for Bangalore.
And soon, Niyati and Dev will have to figure out what happens when the people they've grown up with are no longer just a few streets away.

Maybe the list was never about the twenty-five things.

Maybe it was about the person standing beside her while she crossed each one off.

And maybe some feelings are easier to ignore when you have your whole childhood ahead of you.

But what happens when the list ends?

What happens when the summer is over?

And what if the person Niyati thought would always be there... isn't?
