Dalton is not the average popular kid at his school. He was different. He was special. He was caring and compassionate, unlike most of his friends. He had just moved to Miami, Florida, but due to his looks and humor, he was instantly popular. Behind his good looks and breathtaking smile, he had plenty of secrets he wasn't ready to tell the world. His mother passed away after his little brother was born, and his father left him and Graham. He lives in a one bedroom apartment with a family friend who allows them to stay for free. Dalton works two jobs to pay for medication, insurance and hospital bills for his little brother Graham. Skye is a quiet, special girl. She was different than all the other kids in her school, she is the typical bullied teen. After 8 years with the same kids in school, she has yet to make many friends. At home, she has an alcoholic father and a drug addict mother. The only person in her life that meant something to her is stationed in Afghanistan.
