For as long as Lucy Abrams can remember, she's been the new girl. Thanks to her dad, she's moved back and forth across the country more times than she can count on her hands, learned how to quickly adapt to her new surroundings, and how to pick up and leave everything in a moment's notice. She's also learned how difficult it can be to say goodbye to people who she loves. So, she doesn't. Instead, Lucy vows to never to make attachments to the people or places she lives in. But then Lucy moves to San Francisco, and something seems different. As much as she may want to, she might not be able to keep her promise to herself.
