Luxeria (Lust)

Luxeria is an exploration of Lust, the deadly sin most often reduced to physical desire. While lust is commonly associated with sex, temptation, and passion, its influence reaches far beyond the body.

Lust can be found in obsession, infatuation, and the longing to possess what we cannot have. It can blur the line between love and desire, turning affection into fixation and intimacy into addiction. It convinces us that fulfillment lies just beyond our reach, leaving us forever chasing the next touch, the next glance, or the next fantasy.

Yet lust is not always physical. Sometimes it exists in the yearning to be wanted, the ache to feel seen, or the desperate need to fill an emptiness that no person ever truly could. It can disguise itself as romance, devotion, or connection while quietly consuming the very things it promises to satisfy.

Luxeria examines the many faces of lust: both the passion that draws us together and the hunger that can pull us apart. Through themes of desire, obsession, intimacy, vulnerability, and longing, these poems ask where love ends and lust begins-and what remains when desire becomes more powerful than reason.

Because sometimes the deepest craving isn't to be touched.

It's to be truly known.
