Kim and Loré seek the help of a known witch, Catriz, who lives out in the desert in solitude with her goat and a big mesquite tree. Kim's cousin, Jenna, has been possessed by a dark force and is out for revenge and destruction. All three witches must work together and tap into their connections to the land and their ancestors to defeat the darkness.
