Naomi Amamiya has never managed the same sport twice.

Swimming. Tennis. Soccer. Badminton. Boxing. Volleyball.

Every year brought a new team, new players, and new ingredients to understand. Raised by a renowned chef and a man who traveled the world mastering sports, Naomi learned two things early: never cook without knowing your ingredients-and talent means nothing if you don't know what to do with it.

Now, in her first year of college, basketball is next on the menu.

To everyone else, they're players.

To Naomi, they're unfinished dishes.

Some need heat. Some need patience. Some are missing a crucial ingredient. And some are already masterpieces that make her wonder just how much better they could taste.

Naomi only planned to stay for a year.

Study the team. Draw out their potential. Devour every weakness until each player becomes a meal worthy of her palate.

Then move on.

At least, that was the plan.

Because for the first time, Naomi may have found a team worth turning into a gourmet meal.
