A Lost Owl: Found

Takes Place During the Events of Chapter 56 and Onward of @Marzek's "A Lost Owl": Read at Your Own Risk!

Amity Blight has been taken captive by the Core, and Andrias and his forces have kidnapped most of the Boiling Isles' remaining population; Belos has killed a number of the resistance members, and the morale of the Boiling Isles Resistance Fighters (The CATs) is at an all-time low. All seemed hopeless, except for one prospect: those who'd been taken by their tormenters could still be alive.

However, hope is useless if nothing can be done with it. The CATs, led by the Half-Titan Luz, have had enough. They're running on fumes and haven't the resources to keep up a longer war. They need to do something drastic, something dangerous, something insane. They need a rescue mission. They need to get their people back: Anne needs to get Marcy back, Olivia needs to get Yunan back, but most of all, Luz needs to get her Amity back.

So, seemingly at the end of the Isles, Luz and her remaining allies mount one final offensive against the Core and the mechanical soldiers of Newtopia, hoping to reclaim what they lost, praying they aren't too late.

All the while, The Core waits, preparing everything for the battle they know is coming, with a suspicious eye turned to the enigmatic Emperor Belos. They know he's up to something, but can't place what it is, and that unknown variable concerns them.

And Belos? He laughs because he's about to make the Isles regret turning a blind eye to him, for he's about to let them know, and make them rue what it is that he has found.

(Note: this may be the "Happier" ending to ALO Arc 3, but it's by no means a perfect ending. This is still A Lost Owl adjacent, so don't go into this expecting everything to go perfectly and end with a nice bow. Expect tragedy)
