BEYOND EXPECTATIONS - jake sim

Beyond Expectations follows Jake Sim, a Korean-Australian high school senior, moves from California to Seoul for his final year and tries to figure out whether basketball is really his dream or just the future others expect of him. When he's paired with ambitious debate captain Kim Yuna to plan the school's charity festival, their clashing personalities slowly give way to late-night conversations, unexpected feelings, and the challenge of choosing their own paths over family pressure and looming college decisions.
