I hate being a woman who menstruates every month. For the longest time, I thought cramps were the worst part. Turns out, my imagination also clocks in for work every month. Every now and then, my brain suddenly starts producing the most random, dramatic, heartbreaking, hilarious, and occasionally "Where did that even come from?" story ideas. Naturally, I questioned my sanity. Then guilt showed up because people kept saying certain thoughts were immoral. So, like any responsible overthinker, I Googled it. Apparently, hormones can influence mood, emotions, and creativity. Great. So I'm not completely losing my mind-I'm just ovulating. The problem is, every idea wants to become a full-length novel. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I'll live long enough to spend twenty years writing every single one. So instead of letting them die inside my head, I'm setting them free. Welcome to this collection of short stories-born from curiosity, overthinking, questionable timing, and, apparently... ovulation.
