Each year, Emily Shelley and her family gather at the same villa in Malta. Each summer is shared among long picnics on the warm sand, infinite bathing in the salted sea of the Mediterranean and long, naive conversations under the heat and the sea-salted wind of Malta. Each July brings familiar faces together. But one of them progressively becomes impossible to ignore. It all begins with an intense, inseparable friendship that, over time, gives way to deeper and unbidden feelings. Feelings that make each summer even more eagerly awaited. However, childhood summers never last forever. When duty calls her father back to London, the young woman is torn from the only life she has ever known and thrust into a world of rules, expectations and calculated conversations. The Mediterranean Sea is replaced with candlelit balls, and the carefree spirit of Malta is now nothing more than a warm and nostalgic memory. Years pass. Some letters are written but never reach their recipient. Seasons change. Suitors arrive, and are refused. And somewhere between what is expected of her and what she cannot bring herself to forget, she begins to understand the weight of choosing between duty and desire. Yet some memories refuse to fade. And some summers refuse to end. A story inspired by true events.

1st book of Cursed series in continuation of Shivanya series "You should stop staring at me like I'm some monster," Dhruv said coldly. Taara replied looking into his eyes "Then stop behaving like one, Rawal sa (prince) " For the first time in years... he laughed. But Dhruv didn't fall for her because she was soft. He fell because she walked straight into his darkness without trembling. "I ruin everything I touch," he warned her while caressing her cheeks Taara looked him straight in the eyes. "Then maybe I was born to survive ruin. " What Taara didn't know was - Dhruv had already decided something terrifying. He believed she was the only one who could break his curse. And he was willing to destroy the entire kingdom to keep her beside him. They called him the shadow of the kingdom. A person who doesn't have any identity of his own. Who lives under shadow of someone else. Prince Dhruv - the second prince of mahawargarh. A widower. Most intelligent and interested only in politics . A feared warrior. And the father of a five-year-old daughter who barely smiled anymore. People whispered that something inside him had died the night his wife did. But no one knew his real secret. No one knew the prince locked himself behind closed doors every night, drowning in dangerous addictions to silence the demons in his head. No one knew his hands trembled from withdrawal before battles. No one knew he believed he was cursed. And then came Taara. A maid who was too fearless for her own good. Too confident to lower her eyes. Too brave to fear a broken prince. She was just a maid working in his kingdom not aware of the fact...that she is going to be the curse breaker for him. " I am not innocent at all my little moon " he replied while moving towards her with slow steps " I am cursed " he smirked. Highy mature content
