This story is an alternate universe centered around Viscount Anthony Bridgerton.
Season 1 remains canon, Season 2 does not happen, and Seasons 3 and 4 are still canon, meaning Benedict and Colin are married while Anthony remains London's most eligible bachelor-and has no interest in finding a wife.
After Anthony steps in to rescue Miss Lily Sinclair from the unwanted attention of an elderly suitor Lord Percival, he learns her father intends to marry her off to the First Gentleman to propose due to her small dowry. Remembering the fake courtship once devised by Daphne and Simon, Anthony proposes the same arrangement to help Lily attract other suitors.
The plan is simple: pretend to court each other... and absolutely do not fall in love.
