London was never part of her dream.

Music was.

Growing up, Vani imagined herself tucked away in a recording studio, headphones on, chasing melodies that could make people feel less alone. She wanted to write songs, produce albums, and create music that stayed with people long after the last note faded.

Life had other plans.

Instead of standing behind a mixing console, she stood behind schedules, press releases, crisis meetings, and artist itineraries. As an Assistant Artist Manager at HYBE × Geffen, her days revolved around flights, hotel reservations, interviews, security briefings, and making sure everyone else's career ran flawlessly-even when her own dreams had been put on hold.

She told herself it was only temporary.

That one day she'd find her way back to music.

But temporary had quietly turned into her reality.

If work wasn't enough to keep her distracted, life certainly was.

Five months ago, in February 2026, the relationship she'd spent two and a half years protecting fell apart in the cruelest way possible. The future she'd imagined disappeared overnight, buried beneath lies she never saw coming.

Since then, she had stopped believing in forever.

London was supposed to be a fresh start.

Just another overseas assignment.

One week of meetings.

One luxury hotel.

One packed schedule.

Then she'd fly home.
