This story is a dark, slow-burn romance that shows the true horrors of recovering from severe trauma.
The book takes place millions of years in the feature after humanity has destroyed themselves and the earth. It has finally recovered, but the creatures and the scenery are entirely different. The land and its magics have finally reclaimed its dominion, and it seeks revenge for those that have hurts the ones it bestows its power to.
