Love at First Threat

Koda Sato, a 26-year-old MAID (Medical Aid in Death), runs a business called Reaper Co., an assisted suicide agency disguised as a hitman organization. The company functions like this: you call the number, tell them who you are, give basic info about yourself, and wait to be killed. This unconventional, morally compromised company is not at all a normal assisted suicide agency. Instead of helping terminally ill individuals, their customers become targets hunted down and assassinated in order to save their family and friends from the idea that they committed suicide.

Enter Damien Cross, a 23-year-old asshole, destined for a life in prison due to his idiotic superiority complex and chronic addiction to bullying others into doing his bidding. After acquiring a criminal record and a felony, he realizes no one will hire him. Obviously, who the hell would willingly want an HR nightmare working with them? Desperate to find a job and not end up on the streets, and due to a lack of a high school diploma, he stumbles upon a 'Now Hiring: Reaper Co.' flyer while finding people to mug.

After a horrible job interview, an absurd first day, and being partnered with the world's best workaholic, he finally gets a reality check and decides to improve his life. Totally for the greater good and NOT AT ALL because he fell in love with his coworker.
