"Hmm...those curls" He smiles, his eyes remembering every little ringlet on her head.

"What about my curls?" She giggles with those chubby cheeks.

"Curls like that hold secrets y'know, what are you hiding Shirley Temple?" He pulls on a ringlet gently, letting it spring back into place, giggling at the new nickname he found for her.

She rolls her eyes at the nickname, god she's heard that more times then she can count...

"Well excuse me Mr. Styles, your hair is a bit curly, so what are your secrets?" She pokes his cheek with the grin of a girl who is slowly realizing what its like to finally not be treated like a puppy who has just been kicked.

"Oh Matilda, honey, my hair was much more curly years ago...but not anymore. But yours aren't letting up anytime soon, hmm?" His fingers rake through her curls so gentle she might not even feel it.

"But some of them are coming loose..." He whispers to himself, eyes scanning over her delicate face like he can't fathom a gentle creature like her, holding something so dark...
