The Tide at Gorey

Some stories are never truly forgotten.

When Lavinia's mischievous spaniel digs up a weathered leather case on a quiet beach at Gorey, she discovers a photograph of two laughing strangers, a pair of letters that were never read, and a mystery buried for over eighty years.

As the island slowly pieces together the lives of Albert and Elsie, Lavinia discovers that history isn't always found in museums and archives. Sometimes it lives in bakeries, over cups of tea, and in the memories of those who simply remember a newspaper boy who was always lingering behind the bakery counter.

Tender, hopeful and deeply rooted in the spirit of Jersey, The Tide at Gorey is a celebration of community, enduring love, and the promises that sometimes take a lifetime to keep.
