"The children of the pit" is a short fiction that illustrates the austerities of lives of people of a land that sits on a precious mineral, gold but trapped in abject poverty.
kobe, a young boy from the village narrates his story of how hopelessness got him inside a pit. a pit of children of his own kind and how and world ended for him inside there.
