At 18, Santa's resume is simple: single omega dad, barista, babysitter, survivor. He had Luke at 16. Lost his husband because of it. Got shipped to Thailand by parents who didn't want him. Now he works two jobs to keep his 3-year-old son healthy, in kindergarten, and smiling. He smells like vanilla and candy, but his life is anything but sweet. Perth is 23 but looks 19. Rich, lethal, and untouchable - one of the FBI's strongest operatives stationed in Thailand. He smells like metal and dark chocolate. Control is his language. Softness is not. When Perth starts coming to the cafe down the road, Santa tells himself it's just coffee. He can't afford distractions. He can't afford hope. Luke comes first. Always. But Perth notices the dark circles, the way Santa flinches at kindness, the tiny boy who calls him "uncle" after one meeting. And Perth doesn't walk away from things worth protecting. Santa's worked two jobs his whole adult life. Now he might get one shot at love. If he's brave enough to take it.

At school, Santa is the boy no one really notices. He sits quietly in the back row, never raising his hand, never talking much, and always leaving class before anyone can ask him questions. To everyone else, he's just the quiet kid. But no one knows what happens when the school day ends. While other students laugh with friends and go home to warm houses, Santa walks back to a place filled with shouting, fear, and loneliness. Home is the one place he wishes he never had to return to. Across the classroom sits Perth, a boy whose life seems completely different. He goes home to laughter, warm dinners, and parents who care. From the outside, Perth's life looks perfect. But one day, Perth begins to notice the quiet boy in the back row. And sometimes, noticing someone can change everything.
