Zira is your ordinary, law abiding special agent who's main goal is to keep safe the country that she loves. She would fight for her country and she would die for her country if it meant keeping it's peace. What she didn't expect, was that that would involve being abducted and placed into the Z-Games.
If she wants to escape with her life she must fight through the various simulated battlegrounds of Zed against others fighting for the same thing. The only rules; kill or die. Win or lose. The only trick; manipulation plays a huge roll, people are turned into bloodthirsty monsters and their hunger for winning is a different sort of hunger. When faced with inevitable death, would you lay down and die, or would you fight?

To Be A Hero
Book 4 in the To Be A Runner series. If you have not read books 1, 2 or 3, I seriously suggest you do before continuing in order to avoid confusion. An expectant mother, a shady government worker, an unexpected visitor, and the search for a cure. Yep, that sounds about right. The Touch of Infection
Carisa's been running for her life the past two years. Loosing her loved ones and anyone she grows close to. However they didn't expect the human body to be as persistent as it is, the infection they spread mutating and making humans reanimate with a hunger for flesh. They thought they could contain it, control it even, but it's spreading faster than they thought. The world is dying faster than ever before. And Carisa only want to survive, to make it to the next day, bumping into an Alien she thought she'd be petrified. But upon further inspection... their not that much different that humans. Curiosity at its peek with both of them and so she gains a tail always creeping behind her. The aliens just won't let her go. Story is written on my free time so it has a lot of typos, sorry. It didn't exactly make it easy to prevent getting infected. Things could have been worse, though, Megan thought. She could've been left all alone to ponder over her thoughts and fear over the future. It'll only be within the time spent with the new group will she find out that everything's not as happy and welcoming as it had seemed. These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in.
