The 20 original contestants from the first season of BFDI work for Spiralstar Entertainment, a children's TV program that has dark secrets. Pencil really hates being there, but cant leave. The company won't let her quit. Slowly, each of contestant starts acting... off. Forced smiles, unusually acting fine, they act... too happy. Too happy to notice the chaos. Pencil must snap them out of the trance, try to escape, or find out who's running this company and end it.

The only reference to it is one mention of the wall teleporter, and the word "Yoyle" is never even said - with the exception of the occasional catchphrase of "Yoylecake!" Not to mention that in the short Paper Towel, the Yoyle Needy is visible behind Yoyle Mountain, yet it's completely gone in BFB.
