More than a thousand years elapsed since the tragic fall of the ancient civilization of humans living on land that forced the emergence of an ultramodern way in which human society can operate-a system that has been caging its people from the moment it was born.

But that's not the case for Naia, a teenage girl who seeks adventures everywhere she goes and has never let the invisible leash stop her from finding answers to the tragedy that has trapped them in a sphere. Until one of her quests led her to a remnant of a past that no one in their world had ever experienced.

Upon its discovery, Naia was transported to a world that had already died a century ago-or so everyone thought. The answers to her questions are now bound to be answered by a place that time had buried and a life that her world had forgotten that will cause a massive riptide to the status quo.

And it's now in her hands, and a few others, to break the system that has cuffed her people onto the bar of subservience and bring back what once was theirs.
