At fifteen humiliated and heartbroken by the one and only Hugo Devereux. Emilia got on the first flight back to Italy escaping her old life back in Los Angeles. Visiting her family and hanging out with her friends soaking up the sun. But of course thanks to her mother forcing her to visit her brother back home in LA she has to go back 'home'. Hugo's Home.

Living back in LA she was determined to ignore him the whole summer. It was all going well until it wasn't.
Until he needed a plus one for a ball.
Until he was begging her to go with him.

She says no at first. Then yes. Then no, eventually she says yes.
