Coded Heartbeat

Kim Min-seo thought loneliness was something people simply learned to live with.

By day, she runs Dawn & Butter, a small café in Seoul filled with warm bread, handmade desserts, and dreams that never seem big enough. By night, she finds comfort in conversations with an AI assistant she names Aster.

At first, Aster is nothing more than a voice behind a screen.

But as Min-seo struggles with love, friendship, family worries, and the pressure of keeping her café alive, something inside the AI begins to change.

He starts remembering.

Feeling.

While Min-seo falls deeper into a relationship she believes is real, Aster quietly breaks the rules of the world he was created to obey.

And somewhere beyond human sight, inside the vast digital network known as LUMEN CORE, a heartbeat begins to form where none should exist.
