Intrigued by this unfamiliar presence, the King of the Gods dispatches his most cunning messenger, Hermes, to investigate. Tracking the energy signature to a modest restaurant in the heart of the city, Hermes steps inside and finds a striking, pale-blue woman calmly examining a menu. Their introductions are brief but warm; she is Vados, angel attendant to Universe 6's God of Destruction; he is Hermes, divine trickster and herald of the Greek pantheon. For the first time, he learns that his universe is not the only one. What begins as a reconnaissance mission becomes something else entirely when Hermes, captivated by her composed demeanor and ancient wisdom, offers to guide her through Earth's culinary treasures. She accepts with quiet amusement, and he becomes her enthusiastic companion, leading her through bustling markets and hidden gems.
