Oblivion Mechs

When humanity's last hope collides with the legends of the world, a forgotten war is reborn. 100 years ago, earth was attacked by the brink of extinction by the constant threat of giant creatures known as klaxosaurs. Jeagers fought them, but they fell. They use nukes to kill those Klaxosaurs. They won the battles, but lost a planet. Parasites are raised to pilot giant mecha known as FRANXX in boy-girl pairs. A male parasite is termed a "stamen," and a female parasite is referred to as a "pistil" (the male and female reproductive parts of a flower, respectively). Parasites are artificially created and have short lifespans. Stranded a century in the future, the surviving Ranger Cadets and veteran pilots discover a civilization fighting a desperate battle against the Klaxosaurs while the secrets of the past have long been buried. As Squad 13 encounters the legendary machines known as Jaegers, old enemies return from the shadows. Ancient Kaiju, evolved Klaxosaurs, and powerful new hybrid monsters threaten to wipe out what remains of humanity. To survive, the Parasites and the Ranger Cadets must overcome their differences, combine their unique fighting styles, and forge an unbreakable bond on and off the battlefield. Together, they will pilot both FRANXX units and Jaegers, uncover the truth behind humanity's forgotten history, and face enemies more powerful than anything either world has ever encountered. Friendships will be tested. Sacrifices will be made. Heroes will rise.
