The Solemn Spider-Man

At eighteen, Peter Parker has already lost everything.

Orphaned at eight and left alone after the murder of his aunt and uncle at fourteen, Peter now attends Empire State University as a theatre major, living with six girls: Mary Jane Watson, Gwen Stacy, Felicia Hardy, Cindy Moon, Jessica Drew, and Yelena Belova.

To them, Peter is simply a gloomy, sarcastic, chain-smoking goth with a surprisingly caring heart.

But unbeknownst to them, Peter has another life.

Bitten by a genetically altered spider shortly before graduating high school, Peter has spent the past few months secretly operating as the feared vigilante known as The Spider-Man, a brutal new vigilante who uses his powers, ingenuity, and symbiote-based weaponry to hunt criminals across New York.

What Peter doesn't know is that his roommates aren't exactly ordinary college students either. Some are heroes. Some are spies. Some are thieves. And one is a former assassin.

None of them know each other's secrets.

Yet as Peter's violent reputation grows and his two lives increasingly collide, the walls between the exhausted young man and the masked vigilante begin to crack.
