Alternative - Jax x GN!Reader (OC, AU)

You're not supposed to be here. But do you even want to go home? After all, you were invisible to those who didn't boss you around. Everyone out there is a jerk, with a few nice people, while in here, everyone is nice... besides one jerk. Is he truly a jerk, though, or is he just misunderstood like you were? He doesn't seem to be as rude to you as the others. So, why?
However, your presence brings more than space taken up in the digital plane and conflicted feelings. It disrupts the entire fabric of events itself, where everything else was just an alternative scenario...

This story will be told close to cannon, but is still an AU, so things will be different (especially after episode 7). There will be scenes between episodes or in the middle of episodes between scene changes.

I do not own The Amazing Digital Circus, or any of the characters in this story besides my OC. All rights belong to Glitch and Gooseworx respectively.

The reader will be as blank as I can make them, but this is still technically a Jax x OC. It'll still be written primarily in second person, and it'll be easy to put yourself into it, because it's not like you remember much after joining the Circus anyway...

TRIGGER WARNINGS
TADC is a heavy show. This will be a heavier story. The reader will struggle with suicide themself, along with Jax's pre-established issues. Specific examples:
- hanging
- cutting
- use of substances
- firearms

Jax will be accepting their trans identity by the end of this. She deserves so much better...

This will mostly be fluff. I don't entirely know if/how much lemon will be included, but there will be disclaimers in chapters that end up being spicier.
