Backstory: Y/N grew up in a house where fire was both punishment and comfort. Her father was a drunkie who used cigarettes and lighters as "discipline." After her little brother died in a house fire (which she secretly started to escape, though she'll never admit it out loud), she ran away at 16. She's been drifting between cheap motels and forest cabins ever since, working odd night-shift jobs (gas stations, diners, morgue cleanup).

She has pyromania tendencies and mild PTSD. The sound of crackling flames calms her down. She's encountered weird forest entities before - shadowy figures, missing time, static on the radio - but always chalked it up to trauma... until Toby.
