The Dance of the Dragons ended in fire and blood, but Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen refuses to surrender her firstborn son. When Prince Jacaerys Velaryon is returned to Dragonstone after his death at sea, grief drives her to a desperate act forbidden even by Valyrian sorcerers. Through ancient blood magic, she attempts to pull him back from the realm of the dead.
