I, Gianna August, have been abducted by Alien's. Not sure if its a good or bad thing yet. All I know is that I have to marry a stranger and have his kids. This stupid law set up by the government is that as soon as we are of age, we have to do a sacred ceremony. We only have to do it because all of the supernatural creatures needed to find their mates. Apparently it is now common for a supernatural being to mate with a human so we all have to do the blood testing ceremony. I am the forth human to be selected by an Alien. The first one was a woman named Clarissa. She killed herself shortly after the ceremony. The second was a man named James that no one ever heard from again. The second woman May, same thing with James.  I don't know how it will be for me. I just hope it's not bad.All Rights Reserved

*Book Two Of The Federation Series* It is said that the moon goddess created supernatural beings that gain strength from the moon, creatures of the night. Werewolves were the first supernatural beings created. They were her favorite and most cherished of all the supernaturals because they were the most loyal and obedient of all her children. The elders fully agreed and rejecting one's mate soon became illegal, bringing about an end to the act. But one Werewolf male thought himself above the law. Because he was of royal blood, he felt the law shouldn't apply to him and he did the unthinkable. He not only rejected his beautiful and sweet mate Aubrielle, but he also imprisoned and tortured her. His crime came with a hefty price, one that was used as an example for generations to come. ************************ Though it is not necessary to read Secrets Of The Past before this one, It might be a good idea to do so since there are things in that book that will help understand some things in this one. ************************ Rated: Everyone. We're about 4 years apart, he's only 10 years old and still the smartest person I know. I'm 14 years old, and starting my first year of high school. And may I just say, what a great way to start the year off by first having all the parents be abducted by aliens. Compared to the rest of our family it makes me feel stupid, but then compare me to our parents and my IQ goes from stupid to at least average. Our mom is pretty smart, my dad isn't that smart, and sounds like he really only cares about ducks. People make fun of him for being so smart, but I love him, most days anyways. He's my best friend and he says I'm the coolest big sister he's ever had, to be clear I'm the only sister he's ever had. He has one of those space HQs one of those bigger on the inside tiny on the outside, and invents all and everything. Including our dog, I'm allergic to anything that sheds, but have always wanted a pet, so he made me one himself. I just wish he'd ask me first before he tests his experiments on me. On Venus we have arranged marriages. It starts from the day you were born. Your parents would pick out someone just for you either five days older or five days younger. Along with the alien, a beacon was left on Earth which when activated, opens a portal through which the aliens will return. The extraterrestrials visit Earth to usurp Qi, Earth's vital energy. If the extraterrestrials go too long without Qi, people on the alien planet will die. However, when Qi is extracted from Earth, the weak and elderly of Earth will die. The beacon can only be activated by the alien who was left here and only when the planets are in a particular alignment. The next time is only two months away during the Autumnal Equinox. When Zoe discovers who the alien is, it's a complete game changer because the alien is closer to her than she ever could have imagined. The story takes place in a small town surrounded by forest near the Oregon-California border. Of course it does, after all, the highest concentration of Qi is found in forests where ancient redwoods grow. You might be wondering, what is Qi? In Japan it is called "ki," and in India, "prana"." The ancient Egyptians referred to it as "ka," and the ancient Greeks as "pneuma." In Africa, it's known as "ashe" and in Hawaii as "mana." Qi, Prana, Ki, call it what you will, this energy is the life force itself.

Then by some miracle of discovery or a cruel cosmic joke, in the mid-23rd century when all humanity could do was go out into space to search for a new home, a small planet that was black as the void around it was discovered. The humans who landed on the little planet had nearly lost all hope until they stumbled upon unknown ancient ruins beneath the planet's surface where they discovered untold amounts of bizarre advanced technology. Earth and humanity were saved, and the little planet to thank for their salvation was named Umbra. Alice is a xenoarchaeologist, her passion in life has always been the study of ancient cultures, and now she has the opportunity to study the most ancient one of them all. The very one that modern Human civilization was built on. Alice and her boyfriend accepted a posting on the famous and ancient ship, the U.S.S.A Umbra.
