Hi, my name is Oliver-well, at least I wish it was. I was born in a small town in Czechia as a girl. But as I was growing up, I slowly realized that the term 'girl' just didn't fit. I realized that I was supposed to be a guy instead. But when I looked up the word 'transgender' and read about it, it felt like too heavy a life for me to live. I thought my family would kick me out if I ever came out as their actual son. I thought my friends would end our friendships if they knew. So, I tried to live as a girl again. For two years straight. Long story short, it didn't work out. So here I am after those two years. I am 17 years old, pretty sure that I am a trans guy, but I haven't come out to anybody. (We don't count people on social media.)

***Updates daily for the next 3 months! *** Lurking within quiet, unassuming Casey Osbourne is the most dangerously powerful Gift of any living mage - "alive" being a critical qualifier. Magic like his usually kills its bearer. But, Casey doesn't know that yet. As far as everyone is concerned, Casey is simply an ordinary guy fading into the background behind his amazingly creative and much beloved found family: Avery, autistic, genderfluid, gorgeous, with perfect purple curls; Tara, a seven-foot tall feline monster; Mark, unloved and whose only talent seems to be his creative profanity; and Simon, an actual elf, and not nearly as subtle as he thinks about checking out Casey's ... ahem... well. You get the point. Then there's Casey. Jeans, sneakers, a mundane haircut, and a weird ESP-ish talent he's had all his life. He does a fantastic job of blending in with the wallpaper, and he likes it that way. That all changes when magic, real magic, comes into his life, and suddenly he's the farthest thing from ordinary. His Power is the kind wars ignite over - and the sort of Gift that saves worlds. Untrained and wildly unprepared, Casey and his friends are about to be flung across two worlds to stop a villain from their past before he triggers a catastrophic civil war. If they're lucky, and if Casey can master his magic, they might even survive. What to expect: - Multiple nuanced LGBTQ+ characters - all five MCs are queer - A romance between two men from very different (literally) worlds - A romance between a pan, genderfluid, autistic, artistic, man and a butch, bi woman from the wrong side of the tracks, turned into a monster - Character-focused storytelling, with five stories woven around a central plot
