Jevonte has always lived a hard life behind the scenes. From losing his dad at a young age to his mom being strung out on drugs, Jones was forced to grow up quicker than he'd liked. To the public he was mean, closed off, an abuser but in reality -he was just a man who was dealt a bad hand with trauma and hurt built up.
When the two crosses paths - they find themselves wanting to let their guards down for each other but will trauma, lies, and secrets get in the way.
