Before Frankie Florence became Fran Florence, she was just a girl chasing a wrestling dream and falling in love with Cody Rhodes somewhere along the way.

They were good together. Maybe too good.

But when Frankie finally earned her place in nxt, she ended their relationship before the world could reduce her to nothing more than Cody Rhodes' girlfriend. She wanted a career with her own name attached to it, even if building one meant leaving him behind.

Years later, Fran is finally called up to the main roster.

Cody is there.

Older, more successful, and still somehow able to make her feel like the girl she was before the cameras, championships, and carefully rehearsed answers.

Now they are forced into the same arenas, media appearances, and backstage hallways, pretending their history is buried while everyone around them begins noticing the tension they cannot hide.
