PART 1:
In Los Angeles, California 1976, Faye Dean was a starving artist. Fresh out of High School graduation, and nothing but a guitar on her back, Faye begins to find solace in small gigs- dive bars, clubs, "off the wall" and unsuspecting venues. During one particular gig, eighteen year old Michael Jackson was performing with his rebranded group; The Jacksons. When they meet, inspiration strikes and they form an artistic alliance.

PART 2:
In New York City, New York 1982, Francesca Delmont felt like a ghost to the real world. With no family, no friends, and no identity, she navigates the entertainment industry with pure chaos and sheer determination. When she's asked to make her music debut at the 1984 Grammys, she catches the attention of superstar Michael Jackson. When they meet, a rivalry forms; but the ghost of the past follows, and it doesn't stay dead forever.
