Timber & Twine English version

Timber & Twine tells the story of 17-year-old Lila, who lost her mom two years ago. Ever since then, Lila's dad has made her work at his bar in Downtown Hartford every night after high school. While her classmates enjoy their lives, go to parties, and plan their futures, Lila spends her nights serving drinks until late hours. Her own life feels like it has been put on hold.

Tired and carrying more responsibility than she ever expected, Lila finds her only escape through art. She draws and paints whenever she has the energy. Her artwork becomes the place where she can express the feelings she struggles to put into words. Her best friend Tiffany is the only person who truly understands how much Lila is struggling with a life caught between responsibility and loneliness.

But when violence around the bar Timber & Twine starts to increase, her father makes a decision that will change everything: he hires a new head of security.

Younes, 25, seems calm, observant, and mysterious. He is the first person to notice how exhausted Lila really is. The first person who doesn't just see her as the owner's daughter, but as the person she truly is.

But Younes carries secrets of his own.
