Honkai Impact! X The Boy with the weird watch (wait.. that's not canon)

Dying from suspicious cooking spices wasn't the plan. But when the afterlife offers Micheal one wish, he asks for the Omnitrix. Then, as a joke, he requests to finish Honkai Impact 3rd's storyline. The universe has a sense of humor.

Now he's twelve, stranded in a burning village, armed with alien transformations and zero social skills. Enter Kiana Kaslana starving, snow haired, and immediately passing out while trying to steal his dried fish. He feeds her. Biggest mistake of his life. She never leaves.

Four years of global chaos follow. Kiana names every alien something terrible. ("Fire Guy." "Dog Thing." "Tiny Brain.") She steals his jacket, falls asleep on him, and asks if she looks pretty then screams when he says "it's clothes." Micheal, meanwhile, is convinced he's just the tutorial companion. The placeholder. Kiana's real love interest shows up at Nagazora. Right?

Wrong. Kiana's already decided. And somewhere in the shadows, Otto Apocalypse is noticing strange creatures across Europe with no Honkai signature. A five-hundred-year-old chessmaster versus a guy who refuses to sit at the board. What could go wrong?

Micheal just wanted to finish a game. Nobody said he'd have to survive it.
