CONFESSION

PROLOGUE

I am Freen Wayo Sebastian Chankimha known by the nickname Wind,I am the College President at the university I attend. I don't know why but according to my professors I have the appearance of a leader who can make my fellow students follow me. Because I was a Dean's Lister, I earned a full scholarship that would support me until I finished my COMSCI degree.

Everything started when I met a transfer student at our university. She was also taking Computer Science and was an irregular student.

She was Maria Catherine Blew Patricia Armstrong, known as PHAT. Phat was beautiful and intelligent, which made her the campus crush because so many students admired her.

It seemed like almost every student at our university had a crush on Phat-except me. Maybe it was because I was already in a relationship at that time, so I wasn't interested in anyone else. Aside from my studies, I was focused only on IRISH and on our future together.

IRISH was my first girlfriend. We kept our relationship low-key. She was also busy with her studies, and I understood because we were both graduating students. We barely had time for each other anymore. We only went on dates about once a week, or sometimes not at all because of our student activities.

Because we had so little time together, Irish asked me for some space. But because I was hurt, I ended up breaking up with her because I wasn't her priority. I didn't want to force myself into the life of someone for whom I wasn't the priority.

I didn't know that my life would change when I met Phat. She confessed her feelings for me, but I just ignored what she said. I told myself that I would never like someone like her, but fate has a way of playing tricks. As time passed, the opposite of what I had said came true. Without realizing it, I had started to fall for her. Eventually, I was the one who confessed my feelings to Phat-but by then, she no longer had any feelings for me.
