A Jedi who briefly succumbed to the dark side of the Force during a mission was exiled from the Jedi Council by the unanimous decision of the Masters.

He bore no ill will, acknowledging that they were right; determined to find a new purpose in life, he wandered the universe-independent of Republic mandates-seeking peace wherever he went. He even came to accept the dark side within himself, though not fully, ultimately becoming a completely neutral figure.

After years of wandering through space, he crash-landed in a galaxy where the only planet with life and technology was Earth-a world lagging roughly 500 years behind the rest of the galaxy technologically.

The Jedi decided to live a peaceful life among humans, eventually marrying and having two daughters: Petunia and Lily. Through Lily, he discovered that magic existed on the planet.

Determined to keep the existence of life beyond the stars a secret, he allowed his daughter to attend magic school; however, this decision drove a wedge between the family members, fueling Petunia's jealousy of Lily and coinciding with the mother's death.

In his final weeks of life, he had a vision of a black-haired, green-eyed boy moving stones and water using Force telekinesis. Believing the boy to be his grandson, the old man wrote a letter and left encrypted messages in his old ship for him, finally passing away in peace.

Years later, the boy felt the essence of the Force stirring within him; though he lost something in the process, he gained the knowledge that would eventually lead him to a galaxy far, far away from Earth.
