Fresh out of High School and nothing productive to do for summer, Addison Williams takes a job at her favorite childhood hangout-Sweet Spot Candy Store. But what she doesn't realize is that the shop owner hired another employee, Alexander Fields, Addie's grade school crush. The same person who she happened to write a mushy love poem about, and then proceeded to sneak into his backpack when she realized that he was moving to Tennessee.
Unsure of their feelings, Addie and Alex become friends. But Addie soon realizes some old emotions might be bubbling to the surface. Strapped in for an awkwardly, hopefully romantic roller coaster, Alex and Addie are in for bumps and hills as they try to sort their feelings. Who knows what secrets will slip?
