Humanity has lived behind the Walls for over a century, believing they are safe from the Titans beyond. Following the events of the anime as closely as possible through Seasons 1-3, this story weaves Makiana naturally into the world of Attack on Titan without replacing the original characters or their roles. After the Scouts finally reach the ocean, the story takes a new path-one where hope still exists, old bonds remain unbroken, and the future is no longer set in stone.
A slow-burn romance filled with action, friendship, heartbreak, and the enduring belief that even in humanity's darkest hours, there is always something worth fighting for.
