Mystery
Everyone believes she's the city's most wanted serial killer. Every crime scene bears the same signature, leaving the police convinced that Vivienne Ashford is a ruthless murderer hiding behind a flawless smile. Cold, manipulative, and impossible to read, she has become the obsession of Inspector Elias Cross, the man determined to bring her to justice. But while Elias keeps his distance, afraid that emotions will cloud his judgment, another man refuses to give up. Attorney Adrian Vale, the brilliant lawyer known for winning impossible cases, relentlessly pursues Vivienne's heart. Day after day, he proves that love is not about changing someone-it's about choosing them, even when the whole world sees them as a monster. When a powerful criminal syndicate threatens to expose all three of them, Vivienne and Elias are forced to pose as a married couple to infiltrate the organization. Behind fake wedding rings and carefully rehearsed smiles, they hide dangerous identities while trying to survive deadly missions, betrayals, and impossible choices. As Adrian continues to fight for the woman he loves and Elias struggles to keep professional boundaries, the line between duty and love begins to disappear. But the greatest twist is still waiting. Vivienne isn't the heartless villain everyone believes she is. She has been eliminating criminals who escaped justice while a secret organization manipulates every investigation, framing her for crimes she never committed. The real enemy has been hiding behind badges, courtrooms, and positions of power all along. Now, Elias must decide whether to arrest the woman he was sworn to capture-or stand beside her and expose the truth. Adrian must choose between winning her heart or letting her be happy with the man she truly loves. And Vivienne must finally answer the question she's avoided for years: Can a woman who has lived behind lies and bloodshed still deserve a future built on love? Because sometimes... Excerpt I got a peace offering. And Ice cream. The message popped up again. His Bhaiyu was making it hard to ignore. Darwaza khol, yaar. Mogambo uth jayenge. Ansh glared at the French windows. Even desperate his Bhaiyu would not quit the name calling. Shall I leave? Ansh did not respond. Okay! Leaving the ice-cream outside. Take it before it melts. Ansh did not respond, but his heart skipped a beat. He wanted to meet his Bhaiyu. He was even a little desperate, but he did not wish to give in so soon. So, he counted until 100 and then slowly made his way outside. Iris hopped down from the bed and followed behind him. Ansh opened the doors with a big heart only to find a basket filled with dumb yellow smile squishes and a big tub of ice-cream in between. A few CD's were tucked into the basket almost as an afterthought. The game CD's that Ansh wanted. Ansh glared at the basket. "Do minute nahi rukh saktey they kya?" He muttered under his breath. "You made me wait 17 minutes, kidoo" A voice whispered in his ears. Ansh almost screamed but Nirbhay's palm closed around his mouth before any sound could slip. Ansh's heart thudded in his chest. His Bahiyu had almost given him a heart attack. Nirabhay grabbed the basket and slipped inside with Ansh, and shut the door behind him.
