I used to know Rafe Cameron differently.

Before the rage.
Before the reputation.
Before he became the person everyone warned me about.

He was just Sarah Cameron's older brother.
Someone I grew up around.

But life changed us.

Somewhere along the way, I became someone I barely recognized.

And Rafe became someone I no longer knew.

I became a Pogue.
He stayed a Kook.

Two worlds that were never supposed to collide.

I was taught to hate people like him.
And he gave me enough reasons to.

But hate becomes complicated when the person you're supposed to despise starts looking a little too familiar.
