Jeanette and Anna Brooks were just two normal sisters despite looking like Jean Grey and Rogue from X-Men. Both sisters are having a late-night marathon in Jeanette's bedroom, watching Stranger Things. However, both sisters were completely devastated by the tragic endings, the heartbreaking deaths, and the immense suffering of their favorite Stranger Things characters. Frustrated and crying in the dark, they unknowingly make a desperate, collective wish: to step inside the screen and save the people who deserved a happy ending.

Waking up on the damp, cold ground of 1981 Hawkins, Indiana, the sisters find themselves right outside Jim Hopper's secluded Lakeside trailer. But they haven't just changed universes-they've changed entirely. Suddenly, older sister Jeanette is overwhelmed by a rush of telepathic voices and telekinetic energy, inheriting the unstable, cosmic power of the Phoenix. Meanwhile, younger sister Anna Marie discovers a terrifying, skin-to-skin touch that drains the life force and memories from anyone she encounters, mirroring Rogue's isolated fate.

When a cynical, grieving Chief Jim Hopper finds two terrified "runaway" sisters on his property, his fierce paternal instincts kick in. He adopts them, giving them a home, a sanctuary, and his own last name.

Now, as Jeanette and Anna Hopper, the sisters must survive the '80s, master their devastating Marvel-level powers in secret, and use their knowledge of the future to alter the timeline.
