The Weight of April

For almost fifteen years, freshman Nicolás Alvarez has called the small southern town of Belmont (population: 1,947) home. He has found his people: his witty platonic soulmate Gabriel Torres, sweetly naïve Lila Carter, and sarcastic but smart Elena Reyes. Between lunch periods, TriviaVerse, and walking each other to class, surviving high school almost feels easy.
