The Betrayal
Ksenia "Ksyusha" Sokolov was no stranger to the freezing, unforgiving depths of the Pacific. As a hardened search-and-rescue diver from Vladivostok, Russia, she survived where others perished. That lifetime of grit came to a sudden, watery end during a deep-sea salvage operation, cut short by a cold-blooded betrayal. Left to drown by a corrupt supervisor who coveted their recovered prize, she gasped her last breath of oxygen in the pitch-black abyss.

The Rebirth
But death was only a transition to a strange new existence. Ksenia awakens in a foreign, fantasy realm, stripped of her humanity and reborn as Kseniya, a Bog-Siren. In a harsh world entirely devoid of humans-populated only by proud elven kingdoms, magical fairies, and powerful shifter clans-Bog-Sirens are despised as weak, swamp-dwelling pests, ruthlessly hunted for their iridescent scales.

The Power of Soma Assimilation
Though the dominant factions of this world view her kind as mere prey, they remain entirely ignorant of the lethal advantages Kseniya brought with her from her past life. Along with a relentless, cold-blooded survival instinct, she possesses a unique and terrifying power known as Soma Assimilation. Unlike the beasts of the land, Kseniya does not need to eat to grow strong, for her power lies in what she can drink. By consuming the blood of slain beasts, elves, and monsters, she permanently absorbs their physical traits, magic, and unique skills. She can also drink from highly concentrated magical water sources to grant herself primal elemental resistances and fluid manipulation. Even the deadliest toxins and venoms pose no threat; by drinking them, her body synthesizes the poisons, granting her complete immunity while allowing her to secrete those very same lethal liquids from her own fangs and claws.
